Surrogacy in India paves the way for parenthood..

surrogacy in india

It is quite evident to see that Surrogacy in India has actually become a household name. Compared to the ancient times where people had lack of knowledge and awareness, they always thought of surrogacy as an unrighteous treatment. Their share of resistance was been for this treatment for infertility.

The society back then did not appreciate such methods. Unlike the times now where people are pretty much open about choosing surrogacy. It is truly effective and much better than methods like adoption.

One major reason for what people choose surrogacy is, apart from making parenthood possible for infertile couples, it gives them a baby who belongs to them genetically. Other methods like adoption hardly stand any chance in front of this advantage.

Not only normal people like us but also the glamorous celebrities of bollywood have opted to go the surrogacy way. This is only because it’s high success rates. It can be righty called as a rather smarter way of treating infertility.

Research has shown that the number of infants born from surrogacy has almost doubled from 2006 to 2012, from nearly 768 babies to 1,500 babies. And the number is expected to rise even higher in the coming years.

Dr. Mehta was quoted saying “Surrogacy inIndia comes along with many advantages for the medical tourists like surrogacy laws in India favour surrogacy, surrogates are easy to find and the best part is that the its cost is an affordable one. Whereas if you look at the medical expenses in other countries I am sure you will be surprised to see the significantly higher costs for surrogacy there. In the end I would only to say, surrogacy is no alien treatment it has proven results of how effective is it in treating infertility”.

Keeping the needs of various patients in mind a special program for egg donation in India has been formed by We Care Health Services. It has turned out to be of great help for females who don’t have ovaries or cannot produce eggs because of some medical disability. And also for females whose age factor does not allow them to produce eggs.

Couples can choose from egg donors at the clinics of We Care. They are females of Indian origin who fall in the age group of 22 years to 30 years.  All of them have proven results of fertility and have also given live births before.
